The project
A new two-storey home with double-brick walls, a suspended first floor and an in-ground pool, on reactive clay over shale.
It was approved as complying development, so the builder needed the stormwater, civil, structural and BASIX documents quickly and consistent with each other.
What we did
Metric Engineering delivered the civil and stormwater design, the structural design (a waffle raft slab on screw piles, the suspended first floor and the roof framing) and the BASIX assessment.
On site we inspect the screw piles, the pool shell and the slab reinforcement before each pour.
