Send your drawings for a fixed fee

Send the structural drawings, your formwork system and the pour sequence, plus any crane, hoist or plant loads. You get a fixed-fee proposal and a per-inspection rate, so you know the cost of each pour.

Questions we get asked

What counts as temporary works?

Anything built to support the permanent works during construction and then removed: formwork and falsework, back-propping, shoring and excavation support, crane and hoist bases, scaffold and hoarding.

Who arranges the temporary works design?

On most jobs the builder or the contractor installing the formwork, propping or scaffold arranges it. We work for formwork, scaffold and civil contractors and for builders, and certify the work at each stage.

Do you supply or erect formwork, props or scaffold?

No. We are the engineer, not the formwork contractor. We design, inspect and certify; your contractor supplies and erects the system.

How do you design back-propping?

We check the loads from the new slab, the formwork and construction activity against the strength of the slabs below at their age on the day, then set out the prop layout and how many levels to prop.

Can you fit inspections around our pour program?

Tell us your pour dates when you book and we plan inspections around your program across Greater Sydney.
